Visitor Visa 600:

  • 6 types of Visit visas, each visa has its specific requirements to be met.

485 Visas:

  • Work Visa after completion of studies. Two streams Post study work visa and Graduate visa.

Skilled recognised Graduate Visa 476:

  • This visa allows recent engineering graduates to live, work or study in Australia for up to 18 months. You must have completed a degree or higher qualification from a specified institution within the past 2 years, and be under 31 years of age.

Skilled Immigration:

It broadly has three types and they are all Points Tested Streams 189 (Independent), 190 (State), 491 (Regional).

  • Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)

This visa is for invited workers and New Zealand citizens with skills we need, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.

 

  • Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)

This visa lets State nominated skilled workers live and work in Australia as permanent residents.

 

  • Skilled Regional (provisional) visa (subclass 489) 
  •     For skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia
  •     You can bring your family
  •     If you are granted this visa, you might be able to apply for the Skilled        Regional (Permanent) visa (subclass 887)

 

  • Resident Return visa (subclass 155 157)

If you are overseas or wish to travel outside Australia when the 5-year travel facility of your permanent visa ends, you need a Resident Return visa (RRV) to come back to Australia as a permanent resident

 

  •  Partner Visa 309/100 & 820/801:

Allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. There are on shore and offshore applicants.

 

  •  Administrative Appeals work

Taking up cases/applications who have had refusals and contesting them to approvals again.

 

  • Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186)

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, live and work in Australia permanently.

 

  • Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme (subclass 187)

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer in regional Australia, live and work in Australia permanently.

 

  • Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482)

This visa lets skilled people with a relevant occupation work in Australia for an employer who can’t find an Australian to do the work.

  •               870 Sponsored parent visa:             

-can visit Australia for up to 3 or 5 years

-can visit up to a maximum period in Australia of 10 years

 

  • Protection visa (subclass 866)

-This visa is for people who are in Australia and want to apply for protection. It lets you stay in Australia permanently if you arrived on a valid visa, engage Australia’s protection obligations and meet all other requirements.

 

  • Refugee visa (subclass 200)

With this visa you can move to Australia if you are subject to persecution in your home country.

 

  • Women at Risk visa (subclass 204)

-With this visa you can move to Australia if you are subject to persecution in your home country.

 

  • Training visa (subclass 407)

This visa allows you to take part in workplace-based occupational training activities to improve your skills for your job, area of tertiary study, field of expertise or in a professional development training program in Australia.

Visa 408:

  • This visa lets you observe or take part in a research project at a research or tertiary institution in Australia. You and your family who apply for the visa with you can stay here for up to 2 years.
